Kerbal Space Program

Right then...

As the point of this blog was to post when I was bored between games, the reason I haven't posted in a while is because of this game. Kerbal Space Program. This game has literally taken a day from me in the past week. This is one of those games where you can spend ages doing next to nothing.  I started by trying to build a STTO, or single stage to orbit, space plane. In this game its like trying to learn to drive in a Ferrari. Blooming good fun but more than likely your going to crash. I think I may have managed it by now but it has only taken a week and I might just have got to orbit. A game full of frustration and amazing physics. I love it. In this game you get a big selection of parts where you can make a space plane or rocket and the aim is to get into orbit or even to the planets in the Kerbal system. I think my next stage is to build a space station for a bit of refueling on the way to a planet!

Pros
   -Very addictive.
   -Endless possibilities of what to make
   -You can build a space empire.

Cons
   -Still in a beta form so can be buggy
   -Steep learning curve

I would highly recommend this game as no game for a good while has captured me like this one has. You can get it off Steam for under £20 and it will be the best £20 you would have spent in a while. If you want a good look at the game take a look at HOCgaming on youtube, they do some really good series around KSP, also Duncan from the Yogscast has just started a series so a good look at how to start the game!
